Privacy
What this site keeps.
Plain English, because it should be. Gilded Pixel Studio LLC is one person, Jordan Sanders, in Oxford, Michigan, and this is everything the site collects and what happens to it.

When you send me a message
The contact forms ask for your name, a way to reach you, your business name and anything you choose to tell me. It goes from this website straight to my inbox at info@gildedpixelstudio.com. I use it to reply to you and to put together a quote. I do not sell it, rent it or add you to a mailing list.
Counting visits
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits: which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world from, the kind of device and browser, and which site sent you here. It sets a small cookie in your browser to tell a new visit from a returning one. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy. If you would rather not be counted, Google offers a browser add-on that turns it off.
Payments
Payments run on Stripe. Your card or bank details are typed into Stripe's own secure page and are never seen by, or stored on, this website. Stripe tells me your name, email and what you paid, and emails you a receipt. Stripe's handling is covered by its privacy policy.
What stays on your own device
- Your choice of light or dark mode, so the site remembers it next time.
- On the welcome page for new business owners, the date you first opened it, so your 90-day offer date stays the same.
Both are kept in your browser only. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Other sites
The portfolio shows small working versions of client websites, and some pages link to other sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices. The company that hosts this website also keeps standard server logs, such as which pages were requested and from what address, to keep the site secure.
How long I keep things, and how to have them deleted
Messages and project emails are kept as long as I need them to do the work and to keep ordinary business records. If you would like to see what you sent me, or have it deleted, email info@gildedpixelstudio.com or text 248-933-8094 and I will take care of it.
Children
This site is for business owners. It is not meant for children, and I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
Changes
If what the site collects ever changes, this page will change with it, and the date at the top will say when.
